Race Description
The annual Heaven Can Wait 5K will take place on October 6, 2024, at the Redmond High School track in Redmond, Oregon. The event aims to raise funds for Sara's Project, which provides education and support services for breast cancer detection and treatment in Central and Eastern Oregon. Hundreds of participants are expected to gather to not only run or walk but also to support a significant cause.
Founded in 2000 by breast cancer survivor Charlene Levesque, Heaven Can Wait emphasizes the importance of early detection and healthy living. Participants in this event will help to uplift and educate the community while celebrating life through their involvement. Registration is currently open for those interested in joining the event, which promises not only physical activity but also community bonding.
