Race Description
The 1st Annual Run for Youth Sports of Southwest Florida invites participants to join a community-oriented event aimed at promoting youth sports. Scheduled for October 19, 2024, this race features a 5k run/walk accessible to individuals of all ages and a special 1 mile challenge for young runners 18 and under. The event will take place at the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, where participants can also learn about local sports organizations and enjoy a variety of activities.
In addition to the race, attendees will have access to pre-race warm-up sessions conducted by Mike Ruth from Dynamic Athletic Performance, ensuring they are ready for the challenge ahead. Moreover, participants will benefit from free admission to Sun Splash Waterpark, along with discounts, making this a fun-filled day for families and youth athletes.
