Race Description
The 18th Annual Rooney's 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on April 19, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL. Since its inception in 2008, the event has successfully raised over $228,349 for various charities in Palm Beach County, with this year's beneficiaries including Connections Education Center, the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League, Potentia Academy, and Westgate CRA.
The event schedule begins with registration at 6:00 AM, followed by the 5K run/walk starting sharply at 7:30 AM. Participants will receive race t-shirts and medals, limited to the first 400 entrants, and a kids 1-mile event will take place shortly after. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the race, and roads will close at 7:15 AM to ensure safety for all participants.
