Race Description
The PioneerCrossings Relay Race (PCR) is set to take place on July 11-12, 2025, in the scenic landscapes of Montana, starting from Twin Bridges and ending in Virginia City. This 180-mile long relay race consists of 36 legs, with participants experiencing a significant elevation gain of 14,000 feet. The event follows the traditional 12-person relay format, where teams are split into two vans to efficiently complete the challenging course.
Runners have the option to participate as part of a standard team completing 3 legs each or sign up as an ultra team with just 6 runners tackling the entire course. The event encourages both seasoned athletes and novice runners, aiming to promote teamwork and create memorable experiences against the backdrop of Montana's breathtaking scenery.
