Race Description
The Barbour Community Health Association is set to host the 13th Annual Belington Wellness Center Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run on November 2, 2024, in Belington, West Virginia. This family-friendly event aims to raise funds for the Heart and Hand House, Inc. Food Pantry and the Belington Presbyterian Church's Thanksgiving Day meal program, which together support local residents in need.
Participants can register for the event online, with an entry fee of $20. The race day will feature a registration period starting at 7:45 a.m., followed by the Turkey Trot 5K at 9:00 a.m., a 1 Mile Fun Trot at 9:15 a.m., and award presentations at 10:15 a.m. Participants who register by October 16, 2024, are guaranteed a T-shirt. All proceeds from the event will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Barbour Community Health Association to further support community initiatives.
