Race Description
The 13 Ghosts Half Marathon, 13K & 4 Mile Trail Run is set to take place on October 13, 2024, at the scenic Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan. This event offers participants several distance options, including a half marathon, a 13K, and a 4-mile run, catering to runners of diverse training levels. Registration is currently open, and participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere with a costume contest scheduled to take place before the race.
The course consists of a well-marked two-loop design for the half marathon and separate routes for the other distances. All participants will receive a medal upon finishing, along with post-race food and a gender-specific T-shirt for those who register by October 1. The event also promotes environmentally friendly practices with an option for cupless racing, encouraging runners to bring their own hydration systems. The event supports the Lions Bear Lake Camp, a nonprofit focused on providing camping experiences for students with visual impairments.
