Race Description
The 12th Annual Race to Feed Our Veterans 5K is set to take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Spokane, WA. Organized by Meals on Wheels Spokane in partnership with Fairmount Memorial Association, the event aims to honor both past and present veterans while supporting senior veterans in the community by ensuring they do not go hungry.
Participants will enjoy a scenic course that meanders through the picturesque Fairmount's Riverside Memorial gardens and the lush hills of Greenwood Memorial Terrace. With an emphasis on community and support, a registration fee of $25 will provide five meals for seniors and veterans in Spokane. The event is open to adults, children, and dogs of all fitness levels, concluding with complimentary beer and chili for all attendees.
