Race Description
The 12th Annual Brigantine Open Water Swim is set to take place on August 10, 2025, organized by Green Whales, Inc. and Greenheads Swimming in conjunction with the Brigantine Beach Patrol. This year, the event invites participants aged 7 and above to compete in three distinct swimming events, including a 400M swim for ages 7 to 14, a 2K swim for ages 11 and over, and a 5K swim for ages 12 and over.
Participants should note that as an open water swim, the event may be affected by unpredictable current and wave conditions. The race committee has the authority to alter the course if necessary, and important details related to the event and its landmarks will be shared in race maps. For any uncertainties about the course, questions will be addressed during the pre-race meeting with the Race Referee.
